Week 8 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Running Backs: La’Mical Perine
Finding it difficult to keep a healthy roster of running backs? If so, hit the waiver wire and target these running backs for Fantasy Football Week 8.
La’Mical Perine, New Jork Jets
Perine last played the majority of the snaps with Frank Gore taking a big backseat. After scoring his first NFL touchdown and being featured as the lead back, Perine is worth a Week 8 waiver ticket.
DeeJay Dallas, Seattle Seahawks
The entire Seattle backfield minus Dallas is dinged up and questionable to play as the Seahawks prepare to host the 49ers. By default Dallas could see some significant work. He’s worth a stash at the very least, all considered.
Boston Scott, Philadelphia Eagles
Scott did an excellent fill-in job for the injured Miles Sanders, last clocking in for a total of 92 yards and a touchdown. With Sanders’ health status up in the air for Week 8, Scott could be the lead back once again.
Wayne Gallman, New York Giants
For those in desperate at RB for Week 8, Gallman may work in a pinch. Devonta Freeman’s availability to play (ankle) is in question. It’s worth noting that Gallman at least found the end zone last week when he took the field.
JaMycal Hasty, San Francisco 49ers
Similar to the Seahawks’ injured backfield, Hasty may be depended on as the 49ers nurse their ailing RBs back to health. However, look for a potential timeshare between Hasty and Jerick McKinnon, who was reportedly being “rested” for his last game.
