Week 7 Fantasy Football Sleepers, Driving Derek Carr
Here is a quick look at some Week 7 fantasy football sleeper players who could be sneaky value plays this weekend.
Quarterback:
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Carr has some sleeper allure after a restful bye, playing at home, against Tampa Bay. He has been performing lights out all season, having averaged 288 passing yards per game while sporting an 11:1 TD/INT ratio.
Put aside Aaron Rodgers’ recent debacle against Tampa, and take in the fact that the Bucs previously allowed Justin Herbert and Nick Foles to combine for 533 passing yards and four touchdowns. Carr will be just fine.
Running Backs:
Joshua Kelley, Los Angeles Chargers versus Jacksonville Jaguars
While Justin Jackson looks to remain the lead back, both he and Kelley have appeal against Jacksonville that is giving away the fifth-most RB fantasy points this season.
With this game potentially turning into a landslide win against a badly struggling Jags, Kelley could be the beneficiary of a bunch of garbage yards.
Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals versus Cleveland Browns
Currently, Joe Mixon is nursing a foot injury. If Mixon is not a 100 percent, Bernard will see an expanded role. He should perform well against the Browns that have yielded a generous 197 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in their last two games.
Wide Receiver:
Christian Kirk, Arizona Cardinals versus Seattle Seahawks
Not much of a sleeper anymore, Kirk should be fully trusted to be in your Week 7 lineups at home against the Seahawks. Seattle has been absolutely dreadful in covering wideouts while giving up the most fantasy points to the position and nearly 300 yards per week. Roll with Kirk and watch the fantasy riches pour in.
Tight End:
Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tennessee Titans
Ebron is far from an ideal option at TE most weeks. However, if you’re in a bind and need to fill the slot, Ebron is playing a Titans defense allowing the fourth-most TE fantasy points and one touchdown on average per game thus far.
