Best Fantasy Football Hidden Gems Thus Far in 2020
It happens every fantasy season. Players drafted in rounds 1-2 fail their fantasy owners while late-round picks or waiver wire additions shine.
Here are some of this season’s fantasy gems who aren’t exactly hiding from the limelight.
Robby Anderson, WR, Carolina Panthers
You took him late, or a passed on him altogether. Either way, Anderson is far out-shining D.J. Moore in the fantasy department with his 94.3 yards on average per game. More touchdowns would be the cherry on top as Anderson continues to reward his owners.
James Robinson, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Not drafted by many or snatched from waiver wires, Robinson now ranks within the top-10 in RB points. He has already recorded 446 total yards and three touchdowns. He’s literally running circles around his fellow rookie RBs who others spent way too much capital on.
Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills
Allen has been a true QB gem who is outperforming others at his position drafted much higher. His fantasy owners have been enjoying the massive 352 yards on average per clash and the 15 total touchdowns that Allen has produced.
Mo Alie-Cox, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Alie-Cox is likely lending a hand to those who drafted guys like Evan Engram and Austin Hooper. Both of the latter have been practically invisible at TE. We hope to see more spoils from Cox who has scored in each of his last two games.
Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington Football Team
Gibson is rewarding nicely as a later-round draft pick. He’s a dual-threat on foot and as a receiver and has since averaged 71 combined yards per game. This is on top of three touchdowns which makes Gibson start-worthy each week.
Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Jefferson is a bright fantasy star not too many saw coming in Week 1. Since he’s become quite the coveted waiver wire addition after garnering 14 targets in his past two games. These targets have resulted in a total of 278 yards and two scores and have likely helped win fantasy matchups.
Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Burrow is off to a heck of a sweet fantasy start. He has thrown for at least 300 yards in each of his last three matchups. And, he’s also scored seven times since kickoff while making QBs drafted ahead of him look simply silly.
Mike Davis, RB, Carolina Panthers
Who knew Davis still had it in him to nicely fill in for Christian McCaffrey? In his last two games, Davis has compiled 202 total yards and has scored twice. Those who picked him from the waivers can’t complain at this point.
